Further, teachers and professors who are using the hands on approach are invited to come and share their insigths on how to succesfully teach using this strategy To support these objectives then the conference will feature the following type of events: • Technical Sessions • Keynote Speeches • Discussions • Exhibition Area The technical sessions will allow students to present their work and receive feedback both from other students, but also from invited experts from industry and acedemia. Discussion will be the keyword for these sessions. The keynote speakers are professionals who will contribute with specific lectures that will provide valuable technical input to any hands on student space project. Having like minded people assembled at one place is an excellent opportunity to openly discuss how this type of activities can be strengthened in the future. Finally, at the venue there will be room for everybody to exhibit posters, hardware etc. STEC2005 is organised by Aalborg university of Denmark, which has a strong tradition for student space projects, and the conference is endorsed by the European Space Agency and the Danish ministry of science, technology, and innovation.
